Food is also served downstairs with a comprehensive food menu available, bar snacks listed on a chalk board. Cask beers change frequently and there is an extensive range of wine, whisky, rum and gin. Walls are covered with old pictures and the wood floor is partially covered with rugs under the tables. A real log fire in the bar area is lit during colder months. Outside tables are provided including a side semi-covered courtyard. There are no distracting TV screens to spoil the pub atmosphere. Due to the physical limitations of the building, they cannot accommodate prams or have wheelchair accessible facilities. |
