The challenges
Several management parties: The client’s portfolio was previously managed by multiple parties, resulting in fragmented oversight and inconsistent management standards.
Lack of visibility Due to the mixed-use nature of the assets and ongoing legislative changes, there was no clear visibility or control over compliance matters, allowing certain obligations to fall through the cracks.
Assigning performance: Accounting was also handled by several different parties, leading to a lack of uniformity in cost reporting and discrepancies in quarterly financial statements. This made it difficult for the client to assess true performance and profitability across the portfolio.
